And another Giant Robot Alert going off in here today. This time around, it's Liberty Prime, the huge robot stomping its way to tabletops in Fallout: Wasteland Warfare from Modiphius. You can head on over to their webshop and get your name on the list to get this figure when it's released in about a month.

This is a Giant Robot Alert that'll also hit most of us right in our Nostalgia Centers. Traders Galaxy is taking pre-orders for their new sci-fi miniatures game, Bot Wars. Many of the figure designs look pretty familiar.

Some players want to make sure that the character they're building really fits in with the world they'll be adventuring in. For those of you like that, and who will be playing the Age of Ashes adventure for Pathfinder, you'll want to get yourself a copy of the Age of Ashes Player's Guide. It will help you create the character you want, along with give you some handy info about the world. Also, it's free. So why not check it out?

There's a big announcement for you. Zombicide, one of the most-loved cooperative zombie survival games, is getting a new edition. Taking all the innovations that CMON and Guillotine have been working on over the past 7 years, the original version is getting an update.

The Norns are trying to find a way to stop Ragnarok. They have many different paths open, and they are exploring each. In this preview of the upcoming God of War: The Card Game, we get a look at some of those paths and what challenges will be put before the Heroes if that path is taken.

The X-Men have been in just about every form of media. Of course, there's the comic books, but there's also movies and, in this instance, TV shows. Raise your hand if you watched the X-Men cartoon. *raises hand and sees most others do it, too* That's what I thought. Well, there's some new figures for HeroClix coming based on that beloved show.

In an emergency, every second matters. What happens now can have a big effect on what happens later. And that's what you'll be balancing in Pandemic: Rapid Response, the new game in the beloved Pandemic line from Z-Man Games. You can go pick up your copies now. Don't waste a second!

The launch of Pathfinder 2nd Edition is just a couple days away. With it, players will be diving into the new sets of rules and building new characters. But, ok, so you've got your character... now what are they going to do? Well, adventure, of course! Paizo will be releasing several pre-built adventures on launch day so GMs don't have to worry about fully figuring everything out ahead of time and can just play along with one as they go.

Want to know more about Aftermath, the upcoming storybook game from Plaid Hat Games? An article not good enough for you? You want more visuals? Well, how about a video preview? Sounds good, doesn't it? In this one, we get a look at the world in which the players will be inhabiting.

The Galactic Republic has been around for thousands of years. But the Trade Federation is looking to make a change. They want to leave and take some choice systems with them. The mass of their army is made up of droids, and that's what you get a preview of for the upcoming starter set for Star Wars: Legion. Let's take a look.

In the deep recesses of space, on the planet PK-L7, the future of humanity's energy needs was met with Xenium. However, the passive aliens that also inhabited the planet suddenly turned murderous. Now, it's a race to get off the planet for the Survivors in Zombicide: Invader, the latest incarnation of the game. You can pick up your copies in just a couple days.

A big storm has caused all sorts of trouble not just in the town, but in the reef just offshore. That reef is home to the magical Aquicorns, and it's your duty to help get things back in order. Build back up the town, but also build back up the reef so that everyone is happy. Renegade Game Studios is taking pre-orders for The Aquicorn Cove board game now.

Psst. Hey... Gen Con is this week. Pass it along.

Ares Games will be there. And they're going to be there big and in style. They have a lot going on, including Tripods & Triplaes, Battlestar Galactica - Starship Battles, WW2 Quartermaster General Second Edition, and much, much more. Have yourselves a look-see.

Magonomia is a new fantasy RPG that's up on Kickstarter now. Players take on the role of wizards who must head out into the world to solve problems. The game takes pride in using authentic 16th century folklore as the bases for the game world.

The next storybook adventure coming from Plaid Hat Games is Aftermath. It takes place in a world where humans are gone and the animals that are left are taking over, scrounging from what's leftover from society. In this preview, we get a glimpse of how the game works, as well as how the campaign runs over the course of time.

It's Gen Con week. That means a ton of stuff going on in the gaming world. Many of you will be headed to Indy to attend. So, while you're in the car, on the train, or on the plane, maybe listen to some gaming podcasts to pass the time, eh? Seems like a good idea to me.

This week on the dial we have: The Polyhedron Collider Cast Episode 66: Molkky, Gaia Project and 40k TV; 40K Radio Episode 42: The Apocalypse Arrives; Singled Out Episode 92: Talking Yukai With Josh Niemczyk; Singled Out Episode 93: Talking Free Cities Draft Players With Bryce (Part 1); Game Classy Episode 192: Warcry; The Secret Cabal Express Episode 50: The Gen Con 2019 Preview Special; Tabletop Talk Episode 32: Making a Malifaux 3e Growth League; and The D6 Generation Pip Episode 24: Achievements in Gaming July 2019.

If you didn't see the stories earlier (and you've been living under a rock), Gen Con is this week. The whole gaming world is converging on the ICC, and that includes Catalyst Game Labs. They'll be here with the new Shadowrun 6th Edition and a whole bunch of extras. Like what? Like see below.

A big attraction every year at Gen Con is Fantasy Flight's booth. They've always got a crowd in front of their display case, as it's always stocked with the latest and greatest things. This year, certainly, will be no different. What kinds of things might they have? Let's take a look.

Yes, it's Gen Con week. That means lots of announcements about what's going to be at the show. Here is CMON's (where I'll be most of the time, so stop by and say hello). What sort of things can you also see in the booth (besides me)? Let's take a look.

Good lord, Gen Con is just a couple days away. Hell, some of you may be on your way to Indy already. For those that'll be here, Cryptozoic has posted up what you can expected over in their booth, with a look at some preview releases.

Digital versions of books are great. You can carry a whole library on any smart device. You can basically look up whatever you need, wherever you might be. So, while I like physical copies, I do have many digital versions as well. In this instance, you can pick up the digital version of the Filly Sized Follies adventure trio for Tails of Equestria.

We all look on things we've done and gone, "Well, that was pretty crazy." Sometimes, you have to be a little off your rocker to do something. In Gates of Delerium, you'll certainly be doing that. The split-action cards are divided between Sane and Insane sides. If it's a Sane round, you'll be looking to collect runes and build gates. In Insane rounds, you'll be unleashing otherworldly horrors (as one does when insane). Renegade Game Studios is taking pre-orders now.

Seriously, I've only had a smartphone for about 3 years now, give or take. Honestly, for the longest time, I didn't really think I needed one. But, eventually, my slide-out-keyboard phone gave up the ghost and upgrading was practically mandatory. Since then, I've loved it. I'm not addicted to it, but this job would be a lot different without one. Oh, and the English version of Smartphone Inc is up on Kickstarter. There's that, too.

*snifflesniffle* They always grow up so fast! *sniffle*

Days of Wonder is celebrating 15 years of Ticket to Ride with a new special Anniversary Edition. It's got special clear plastic trains and a retrospective booklet about the history of the game. For you collectors out there, this is one to check out.
