Chaosium Releases “Lands of RuneQuest: Dragon Pass”

Chaosium has released Lands of RuneQuest: Dragon Pass, an expansion designed for both players and gamemasters of the RuneQuest role-playing game. This new supplement dives into the magical and mythological region of Dragon Pass, a key setting in the Bronze Age fantasy world of RuneQuest.

The book serves as a comprehensive setting guide, covering the region’s history from the God Time to the Lunar Empire’s occupation. It includes detailed descriptions of towns, cities, villages, and ruins, offering ample material for sandbox-style campaigns.

New rules for character creation are also featured, with expanded Homelands including Sartar, Esrolia, Lunar Tarsh, and others. Players will find additional occupations and backgrounds to help customize their characters.

For gamemasters, the expansion provides a variety of new creatures, monsters, and spirits, along with a selection of NPCs, both famous and generic, to incorporate into adventures.

Lands of RuneQuest: Dragon Pass is available in hardcover for $44.99, with a special leatherette edition priced at $90.00. A PDF version is also available for $22.99 from both Chaosium and DriveThruRPG. The expansion is compatible with the RuneQuest core rules and can be combined with other supplements to further expand the game world.
