Thursday. We're just about to the weekend. I'm planning on going out to do my monthly grocery shopping today. I'll need to make sure to pick up plenty of chicken nuggets since also today, the first shipment of my over 20 bottles of hot sauce I've got coming in should be arriving. But while I'm getting the dinner table ready, we still need to get your gaming table ready and looking good. So, let's do that.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Industrial Apocalypse Sci-Fi Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Modular Sci-Fi Gaming Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Fangs Printable Fantasy Terrain Up On Kickstarter, and RatMat Scenics Modular Terrain Up On Kickstarter.

Modular Sci-Fi Gaming Terrain Up On Kickstarter

Hi there, I am wanting to create a fully modular, unique system for table top gaming. I have taken a lot of inspiration from my favourite Sci-Fi entertainment programmes and incorporated some of the elements into these designs. The system is fully modular and the floors and walls are printed separately to save on print time and materials. All walls can be printed with no infill and the system only takes a matter of seconds to disassemble and reassemble in different ways. They system has interchangeable features such as doors being changed out within seconds to signify them opening and closing, therefore blocking line of site through rooms. Also available is interchangeable attachments such as hazards; burst pipes, computer terminals, scatter terrain and other movable scenery. This can make the game play more engaging and interactive, which improves the role-playing elements of the games.

3D printing is now an established reality, not everywhere but slowly we have come to the possibility of making our imagination real. There are so many artists who make their ideas tangible and these ideas connect to enrich role-playing sessions around the world. The ability to develop this material for players around the world is our greatest aspiration.

A simple machine makes our dreams come true and for this we thank the pioneers of this sector who inspired us to create something of our own!

RatMat Scenics Modular Terrain Up On Kickstarter

I've been running, playing, and creating RPGs and miniature games for decades. After being involved in this world for so long, I recently wondered just how much time I've spent loading, transporting, and setting up terrain for conventions, store demos, and regular game nights. It was...a lot. Sometimes you just want to get to the game! I've also heard time and again that people are interested in RPGs and miniature games, but don't have the time to create or paint terrain or the space to store it. Why should that be an obstacle to great gaming? With ease, cost, and limited storage space in mind, Rattrap Productions is excited to share our RatMat Scenic Packs--full landscapes composed of 2mm punchboard and sized for 25 mm to 32 mm figures. RatMat Scenic Packs are designed to assemble/ disassemble quickly and easily, store in a minimum of space, and cost a fraction of what you could spend on buying or building your own bulky terrain.
