RedImp Games Announces New Projects, Including Anniversary Edition of The Lord of the Ice Garden

RedImp Games has returned after a publishing break, revealing plans for upcoming releases, including a new edition of The Lord of the Ice Garden board game.

The company has outlined its schedule, with several projects set to launch over the next few years. Among the first is the English version of Kur-Nu-Gi, which will be available through a GameFound campaign launching in late 2024.

The highlight of RedImp’s announcements is The Lord of the Ice Garden: Anniversary Edition, expected to have its GameFound campaign launch in early to mid-2025.

This new edition is based on the universe created by Jarosław Grzędowicz and comes with both a refined version of the original rules and a modernized version designed to introduce additional elements to the game. The developers aim to improve the gameplay experience, introducing new miniatures and characters, while making adjustments to the board design and gameplay mechanics.

Fans of the previous editions will note some significant updates, but the game will remain true to its roots, preserving its core essence. Due to the amount of time since the release of earlier versions, there are no plans to offer upgrade packs.

Another project in development is the Inquisitor board game, based on the works of Jacek Piekara, which is slated for a GameFound campaign in late 2025. This game will immerse players in investigations that draw heavily from Piekara’s universe, with scenarios already planned to provide several hours of gameplay.

In addition to the board games, the company is also working on an RPG and card game set in the Lord of the Ice Garden universe.
