Battlefront

They were chased off the continent at Dunkirk. Now, several years later, the British are headed back. D-Day was the largest amphibious assault in history and established a new foothold in France. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in the WWII narrative and you can recreate it with some new D-Day British available for Flames of War from Battlefront.

From across the sea, the largest invasion force ever created is making its way to France. It's D-Day and the Germans are about to find out just what the Allies have been up to over on the Southern coast of Britain. The floatilla is almost there, and they're almost on your tabletops too. Battlefront has started taking pre-orders for new D-Day British for Flames of War.

Great Britain might be going through Brexit now, but in Team Yankee, they're making a Brentrance into the game (yes, I'm proud of that one). They're heading into battle against the Warsaw Pact and will be making their way to tabletops soon. In this article, Battlefront gives a look at what the faction has up their sleeve, including new units and equipment.

Battlefront has started taking orders for World War III: Team Yankee. The Soviets have invaded West German and it's up to the US and its allies to push them back in this near-futuristic alternate history miniatures game. Who will win when the cold war turns hot?

Hey everyone,

I've crawled out of my overeating haze just long enough to collect together some Black Friday/Holiday Sales that are happening now, collected all together for your convenience. Most are pretty fast, so don't wait!

The folks at Battlefront are working hard and making sure you keep an eye towards the skies. Death From Above is the current name of the game (well, Flames of War is the name of the game, but you know what I mean), with new airborne troops landing all the time. They've got some new figures touching down that you can go get now.

Sure, it's raining outside, but I wouldn't say that it's a particularly "black Friday." But that doesn't matter so much, since the saying's less about the weather and more about keeping your budget in the black by giving you deep discounts on things. Battlefront has launched their Black Friday sale over in their webshop.

I heard my first Christmas-themed commercial earlier this week on Spotify. It's that time again, everyone. The Holidays will be here soon, and that means pre-holiday Sales. Battlefront's the first out of the gate to my knowledge, announcing their Black Friday sale, which actually happens next week and not actually on Black Friday.

Some day, I'd love to go skydiving. Now, I have an often-crippling fear of heights. And yet, jumping out of a plane is on my bucket list. I have a feeling that it'd help with my fear of heights. Granted, I wouldn't have anyone shooting at me. Airborne troops in WWII didn't have that luxury. Soon, you'll be able to add these brave soldiers to your Flames of War forces, as Battlefront is taking pre-orders for new sets now.

I'm sure when the Allies hit the Normandy beach during D-Day, they thought that the waves of German troops would never end. And that's how it feels with these posts. We've got yet more German forces that you can add to your Flames of War armies.

The Germans had a whole army's worth of men and material to defend against the Allied invasions at Normandy. Battlefront has yet more for your Flames of War games. Armored vehicles, artillery, and more to defend German holdings.

While the Normandy invasion, known as D-Day, obviously took place in a very specific part of the world, the ramifications of it spread out to all corners of the globe. Soon, all the world will be recreating it as Battlefront launches their D-Day Global Campaign for Flames of War at the end of October. Read on to find out about this new campaign event.

The German war machine was churning out gear at a very high rate before the Allies invaded Normandy. Different weapons of war, as well as different specialized units were stationed all along the coast, making sure that nothing could get in. For your Flames of War games, Battlefront is helping bolster Fortress Europe with some more German releases.

The Germans had quite the production capabilities during WWII. They were able to churn out large amounts of vehicles, materials, and soldiers to continue their conquest of Europe (and the world!). When the Allies hit Normandy Beach, the Germans had quite a defense set up. Battlefront is bringing more of these D-Day Germans to your Flames of War tabletops, including a new Nebelwerfer, because you can't have a war without some werfed nebels.

For protection? Protection from what? Ze Germans?
*looks at the new releases from Battlefront for Flames of War*
Oh, s---. Ok, maybe "Ze Germans" are here already. You can pick up some new reinforcements for your German D-Day forces now over in the Battlefront webshop or at your local LGS.

The German forces had a long time to reinforce the coast of Europe during their occupation. They knew that, eventually, the Allies were bound to attempt a landing. When it finally came, they were as ready as possible. To represent that on your Flames of War tabletops, Battlefront has some new D-Day Germans that you can order from them now.

When Battlefront has some big release, they don't just send out the skus to the stores and let things go on by. No, they celebrate. And with the release of the D-Day Germans for Flames of War coming up in just over a week, they want to make sure you know you're invited to their Live Launch. All that weekend, they'll have special things going on over at their website for you to check out.

No battle during WWII was fought in a vacuum (... I mean, of course not literally because it didn't happen in outer space. But also, none were fought without the larger context fo the war). Each had their own place in an overall campaign for the various warring factions. With Bloody Omaha, the first of the Ace Campaigns coming from Battlefront for Flames of War, you too can set your battles in a larger context in terms of a campaign. In this article, Battlefront gives us a look at what this new system of campaigns is like.

Battlefront has been releasing a lot of American figures for the landings at Normandy. But, as anyone will tell you, they didn't just have a casual stroll up the beach. They were met by heavy resistance from the German forces. Soon, you'll be able to bring those forces to your Flames of War tabletops. Battlefront has started taking pre-orders for new kits featuring the D-Day Germans.

When the Allies hit the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, they didn't just come as a trickle, they knew that to succeed, they had to come in as a tidal wave and be relentless in their assault. That's what Battlefront is doing with their Americans releases. They've got some more available over in their webshop to bulk up your Flames of War armies.
