Is it a little early for Holiday stuff? No. I don't think so. We could use some relief this year, and if that means getting out the Christmas stuff a little early, so be it. And that's where Nuclear Winter Wonderland comes in. It's a light, silly, fun RPG that's up on Kickstarter now all about Christmas in the aftermath of nuclear annihilation.
From the campaign:
In a nutshell? A small, just for fun, tabletop roleplay game for you and some friends to have a gaming giggle with at Christmas!
Play around a table (with folks in your social bubbles if such things apply in your area) or online (using stuff like discord, if that's your jam!)
The Game will be self-contained within a book/booklet/ ’zine’ (whichever word best fits is up to you).
It will feature at least 24 full-colour pages with fantastic art and all the rules you will need to play pretend at being a team of Christmas elves.
Delve deep into the nuclear wasteland looking for salvage to build toys and invent some ridiculous stuff along the way.
It will be available as both a PDF and an actual physically printed product.
The Printed ‘Zine will be printed in a format reminiscent of a classic America comic book, 170 x 260mm, gloss 130gsm paper with 250gsm gloss covers.
To play a game all you need is a copy of the rules, a group of friends to play with, a hand full of role play dice (d4s through d12s) and somewhere to record your characters stats and their inventions- I recommend using blank Christmas cards to keep the theme.
The Kickstarter is up and over its funding goal with 22 days left to go.
