Corvus Belli

Hello and welcome to a new season! It's Autumn up here in the North and, of course, Spring for those down South. I know I'm happy to have some cooler temperatures around.

It's also Monday, which means along with cooler temperatures, we need some gaming terrain.

Another quick one for you today. It's: Corvus Belli Shows of New Infinity Terrain

Defiance is the new co-op dungeon crawl game coming from Corvus Belli and it takes place in the Infinity universe. But, it doesn't just use Infinity's rules. At least not straight-up. So, how do the rules work? In this preview, we get a look at some of the basic game mechanics you can expect to see.

Infinity Defiance will take players into the Infinity universe in a whole new way. A fully cooperative dungeon crawl board game, letting players take on the role of heroes exploring around through the hidden-away places of the Human Sphere. But just what will the game entail? How will it work? What's inside the box? Get the answers to many of those questions in this new preview that Corvus Belli has posted.

For those looking for more content for the Infinity RPG from Modiphius, you're in luck. There's four new products available to get you going in your game. Starting off, for those thinking of trying a new faction, there's the Aleph book. For those running the game, there's the GM's Guide. And then there's a pair of decks, one for various Locations and another for the Wilderness of Mirrors that cane help guide your games. All of them are available in some format now.

Corvus Belli is taking pre-orders for a new 2-player starter set for Infinity. It's called Operation Wildfire and it is not only a great place for new gamers to get into the game, but for Infinity veterans, it contains the beginning of a whole new army. They're the 0-12, an organization designed to take over for the U.N. as an international (and interplanetary) peacekeeping force. Those that pre-order the set will get an expanded set of figures as well as an exclusive one.

A new pair of combatants will be making their way to the arena in Aristeia. Corvus Belli has announced Reckless Hearts, the next expansion for their high-action sci-fi gladiator sports game. Axl Steel and Hippolyta will certainly get the crowd going.

So, later this week is a holiday for us here in the US. I'll be taking some time off, so it's actually really helpful that Modiphius is letting us know about some releases they'll be having on the 4th. Lets me still tell you about it, while I'll be BBQing and making things explode. Anyway, this Thursday, they'll be releasing several RPG decks for the Infinity RPG.

Modiphius has a new adventure book for the Infinity RPG now available. It's called Cost of Greed and it takes players on a non-linear adventure of smuggling, intelligence gathering, corruption, and all over the Human Sphere. You can pick up your copy now.

Thursday. We're making our way there. The weekend is just up ahead. Not entirely sure what I'll be up to. Probably taking it easy. No D&D this weekend, but we will the weekend after. And that'll probably mean the need for terrain. So, let's make those gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Battle Bocage Kits From World War Gaming, Bio-Craft 3D Sci-Fi Terrain Up On Kickstarter, and New Nomads Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio.

We're not even a full week into June yet, and Corvus Belli's already living in July. They're just ahead of the rest of us. But at least they're being nice and are showing us what they'll be releasing then. If you want to see the new figures for Infinity and Aristiea, just continue on.

For those that want to get more involved with your Infinity games, you can head over to the Infinity RPG from Modiphius. They have two new sourcebooks available for two of the major factions. You can get pdf versions of the Nomads and PanOceania books now.

Corvus Belli is teaming up with Vallejo to create Infinity-specific paint sets. You've been painting your figures with just anything, but soon you'll be able to get the official paints on there. And the sets are more than just bottles. They've got exclusive sculpts of figures in there as well. Have yourself a look.

Here we are, only 3 days into May, and Corvus Belli already has a treat for us, letting us know what's coming in June. They've got new Infinity sets, of course, as well as new terrain and a new Aristeia release.

While this is the digital age, I still like actually having a book in my hand when I can. Yes, I have plenty of pdf rulebooks on my hard drives, but there's just something about actually holding a book that can't be replicated or beat. If you agree, you'll be happy to know that the Haqqislam and Ariadna books for the Infinity RPG from Modiphius are now available in print forms.

April's most of the way over with, so Corvus Belli is looking forward to next month. They've posted up the figures that'll be hitting store shelves in May. You can check them out now.

It's Monday. We had a front move through over the weekend. It kicked up something and I'm feeling not-so-great. But while I mainline some Tylenol and Benadryl, I can still see and type well enough to get you some terrain articles.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Tyr Terrain Releases Space Station Interior Terrain Pieces, Orc Bombs Available from Fox Box, M3Studios Running Hangar & Bulwark Terrain Kickstarter, and New Yu Jing Map Available From Deep-Cut Studio.

One of the big announcements from Adepticon was that Corvus Belli is working on a cooperative board game set in their Infinity universe. It's called Defiance and it's coming to Kickstarter this fall. But people want to know more. And Corvus Belli is letting you know when and where that can happen. If you're coming to one of the bigger shows during the summer, you'll get a chance to check it out.

Corvus Belli's announced Defiance, a new dungeon-crawl board game set in the Infinity universe. If you've been a fan of the figures and the lore, but weren't so hot on minis skirmish games, this might just be your chance to join in on the fun. Also, they've posted up the various Infinity previews they've had from Adepticon over the weekend.

There's a new campaign book coming out for Infinity in the form of the Daedalus Fall campaign. Inside it, there's a whole bunch of exciting things, including some new and updated rules. Corvus Belli gives us a look inside what's changing so you can know about it ahead of time and not be caught off-guard.

There's a new expansion for Aristeia coming soon. It's the Chemical Brothers expansion (I just love the tracks they put down...). You can get your name on the list to be one of the first gamers to get it when it's available. Corvus Belli is taking pre-orders starting today.

We're more than halfway through February. Seems like a good time to look ahead to see what March will bring. For Corvus Belli, that means a new batch of Infinity releases. In this preview, we get a look at just what will be hitting store shelves.

Corvus Belli hasn't done a giveaway in quite a while. I've rather missed them having one on each country's independence day. But they're back with a new one. They're not celebrating independence, though. They're celebrating love. Head over to their Facebook page and you could win yourself some free minis.

Are we to the weekend yet? Anyone? Make it the weekend? No? Damn.

Not that the week's been terrible, mind you. Just busy. Ready for a couple days to just relax some. In the meantime, we gotta make sure everyone's gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Talon Starship Map and Miniature Up On Kickstarter, Deep-Cut Studio starts releasing Designed For Infinity game mats, New Hellscape terrain set 3D Printable Up On Kickstarter, and Loke BattleMats release new Frozen Tundra Design Tabletop Battle Mat.

We're a week and change from February already. The start of the year has been going by quickly. Corvus Belli isn't getting behind, though. They've posted up a preview of what you can expect for Infinity next month. Take yourself a look-see at what you're going to be getting.

2019 is here. It's a brand new year with a lot of things to look forward to. In order to help you get your calendar all set, Corvus Belli has posted up a 2019 preview of shows they're going to, along with some teasers about what can be expected from them as the months roll along.
