Terrain

The pollen has started here in Georgia. It actually started about a week or so ago, but it's really ramping up quickly, and soon everything will have a green/gold powder coat. And even if you're not allergic to any of it, you'll still cough and sneeze, because it's like getting a handful of flour thrown in your face whenever you walk outside.

So, obviously, it's best to stay inside and game. Or, in this case, stay inside and work on your terrain game. Quick Terrain Corner for you today. Just one story. But it's a good one. My old friend, Dave Taylor, is running a Kickstarter campaign for his Terrain Essentials guide, written by Mel Bose of The Terrain Tutor.

Happy Friday Eve, everyobody. Also, I realize that it's now spring. A new season is upon us. My week is still extremely busy and just racing by, so let's get you some terrain before we race into the weekend.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Prepainted Terrain From Manorhouse Workshop, Endor Defense Map for Imperial Assault Announced, New Sci-Fi Battlemat Books Available From Loke Battlemats, and New Map Packs and Battlemat Available For Battletech.

Well, it's swung back around to being Monday. Hopefully, your work week won't be too bad, and we can get back to the weekend as quickly as possible. And if we're going to be back at the weekend, and hopefully you'll be doing some gaming this weekend, we should make your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Motorboat Pens For Cruel Seas From Warlord Games, New Trapdoors Sets Available From Tabletop-Art, New Guild Ball Pitch Available From Deep-Cut Studio, and Thomarillion Running Seven Statues of Rome Kickstarter.

It's weird how one can go to bed on Wednesday and go, "Man, feels like tomorrow should be Friday by now." And yet wake up on Thursday morning and go, "Whoah, Thursday already?" Time's weird like that.

Anyway, seeing as it is Thursday, that means once more making your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Battletech Previews New Mats, Character's Hideouts Maps Up On Kickstarter, Devil’s Dungeon II Scenery Out Now, and Cyberpunk Coming to DungeonFog.

It's Monday. I don't know what you did over the weekend, but I did... a decent amount of cleaning. Maybe not as much as I could've/would've/should've, but I came across Hot Ones on YouTube. Yeah, I know, many of you are already huge fans and have been for quite some time. They're in Season 8 and I just found them. It happens. But seriously, most of my weekend was spent binging that show.
For those of you that don't know, it's an interview show where a guy interviews all sorts of celebrities: chefs, comedians, recording artists, stuff like that. Oh, and they eat progressively hotter chicken wings as they go along, ending with stuff that's got 2mil+ Scoville ratings. That's a thing.
Anyway, what does that have to do with gaming? Well, a lot of the gamers I know are chow-hounds, and many like spicy food. So there's that. But, I know, you want to know about terrain. So we'll get to that.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Dead Horses and Dead Cows from Warlord Games, Hive City Transit Stations Available from Tabletop Scenics, and Sci-fi/PostApocalyptic 3d Printable Terrain Up On Kickstarter.

This week is going by nicely. It's certainly been quick so far, at least. Hopefully the next two days go by quick as well and we can get to that sweet, sweet weekend. Though mine will mostly consist of cleaning out the bear den. It's supposed to warm back up some and I could use to do some dusting. So, while I make my domacile nicer, let's make your gaming tables look nicer.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Tabletop Scenics Orc Kustom Freeks Den Bundle Now Available, Paizo Previews Cemetary Terrain Set, New Corn Sacks From Tabletop-Art, and Baueda Releases 15mm Chinese Pavilion.

We continue on with this incredibly busy week. Step by step, we climb the mountain. Speaking of mountains, let's talk about gaming terrain. We've gotta make your gaming tables look good.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Tabletop Scenics Previews March Releases, New Pledge Level Added to TerrainCrate 2 Kickstarter, New Blood Bowl Mats From Deep-Cut Studio, and Mantic Games Teams with Warlord Games In Terrain Crate 2 Kickstarter.

"Post Content Goes Here."

Yes, I know, posting window. Post content goes here. But Monday just feels extra Monday-like today. I hope this isn't indicative of how the rest of the week will go.

Maybe some cool terrain will cheer me up some. It's worth a try, anyway.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Cruel Seas Lighthouses + Plume Packs and New Hive City Ventilation Shaft Available From Tabletop Scenics.

We're slowly making our way there. The weekend is in sight. At least, I think that's the weekend. It's been hard to tell with all the rain we've been getting. Not that I mind the rain, of course... except when I have to drive... But through the torrential downpour, I'm still here to make your gaming tables look as god as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Mantic's Terrain Crate 2 Kickstarter Launches Today, New Overlord Terrain Maps From Pwork Wargame, and New Gangs of Rome Playmat from Deep-Cut Studio.

We've rolled back around to Monday. I hope your weekend was good. Mine was relaxing, even if it didn't go quite as scheduled. But you gotta adapt, y'know? Anyway, seeing as it's Monday, that means we're here to make your tabletops look as good as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Yarro Studios Running Terrain Maps Book Kickstarter, Hive City Mansion Available From Tabletop Scenics, Alternative Armies Releases New Barricade Terrain Pieces, Mantic's Terrain Crate 2 Kickstarter Launches February 21st, and Loke BattleMats to launch the Big Book of Sci Fi Battle Mats and the Giant Book of Sci Fi Mats March 25th.

It's Thursday.

It's also Valentine's Day.

I'm single (have been for 7 years now).

So, let's look at gaming terrain.

Today in the Corner we have: WizKids Releases Icons of the Realms: The Falling Star Sailing Ship, Valentine's Day Giveaway At Kromlech, Terrains4Games Valentine's Sale Happening Now, and New Aleph Game Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio.

And we've circled back around to Monday. I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was filled with extremely little, which was by design. Nice and relaxing. We'll see what next week brings. As for right now, it brings making your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Fantasy Flight Announces Legend of the Five Rings RPG Game Mat, Amera Mouldings Releases New Ruined Raven Hall, Tabletop Scenics Previews New Hive City Releases, and New Additions to Amera's Plastic Sheet Range Released.

There's a lot going on for you today from Games Workshop. If you're a fan of Age of Sigmar, there's a new starter set out which gives you Skaven vs. the Flesh-eater Court (rats and vampires... you'd think they'd get along better...). There's a couple extra sets for that as well, including dice (#NoSuchThingAsTooManyDice). On the sci-fi side of things, there's several new releases for the Genestealer Cults for Warhammer 40k. No dice, though.

Are we to the weekend yet? Anyone? Make it the weekend? No? Damn.

Not that the week's been terrible, mind you. Just busy. Ready for a couple days to just relax some. In the meantime, we gotta make sure everyone's gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Talon Starship Map and Miniature Up On Kickstarter, Deep-Cut Studio starts releasing Designed For Infinity game mats, New Hellscape terrain set 3D Printable Up On Kickstarter, and Loke BattleMats release new Frozen Tundra Design Tabletop Battle Mat.

Well, it's Monday and we're back to the regular swing of things. The Super Bowl was over the weekend. I didn't watch it, and apparently it was a snooze-fest, anyway. I'm sure there's a lot of you that did watch it and are having a hell of a time getting going today. It's alright. The day will go by eventually. In the meantime, let's make your gaming tables look good.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Newly Revised Cobblestone Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame and Loke Btatlemats add new terrain sizes to Rubber Mat range.

It's cold out. Like, really cold out. And, I mean, I'm here in Atlanta, which, relatively speaking, isn't all that cold. But back up in Chicago where I grew up... yeah, that's cold. Best to stay inside and do some gaming. With how cold it is outside, it seems all the terrain-makers are taking a bit of a break. Just a quick Terrain Corner for you today.

We have: Grimdark Statues Bundle Available From Bits of War.

You know, it's not like I dislike coming in to work. I really do enjoy what I do. But let's face it, as cool as the office is, it's not hanging out on your couch, munching snacks and playing the occasional game. But Mondays must happen if we want to have weekends. It's just how things work. So let's make them as good as we can and make your gaming tables look as good as we can. Quick one for you today.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Games Workshop Taking Orders For Killzone: Sector Fronteris Environment Expansion.

Friday Eve. I know I'm ready for the weekend. I know it ws a short week, but for some reason, many of those feel at least as long as a regular week. Sometimes longer. Not entirely sure why that is, but here we are. Anyway, the weekend will be here eventually, and for those  expecting some gaming, let's make sure your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Hive City Saint Statue Available from Tabletop Scenics, New Tundra Design From Deep-Cut Studio, New 6x3 foot Terrain Rubber backed Neoprene range from Loke BattleMats, Heroic Maps Releases Storeys: The Moonshine Tavern (Day), Heroic Maps Releases Storeys: The Moonshine Tavern (Night), Brigade Models Releases Small Scale Trains, and Amera Mouldings Releases New Gorge Set for 28mm.

Hello, Thursday. Let's see what you have in store for us today, eh? I know I should have a dice delivery at some point, so that's good. The weekend's almost here. It's a long one and I've got game on Saturday and possibly Sunday, so that's also good. So, while it's been ridiculo-busy at the office, I've got some good stuff to look forward to. In the meantime, let's get your gaming tables looking good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Hive City Angel Statue From Tabletop Scenics, Heroic Maps Releases Docking Bay 36 Map, and SAGA Runestones Available From Brother Vinni.

Hello, Monday.

... ... ... Yeah, that's enough of that. Let's get on to the terrain articles.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Urban Conquest Available to Order From Games Workshop and Loke Battlemats Running Reversible Neoprene Space/Terrain Battle Mats Quickstarter.

Hello, and welcome to Friday Eve. Much of the week, I've felt it was a day ahead of where it actually was. I asked a friend yesterday about how she thought her Wednesday-night stream had went... Of course, since it was around noon at the time, obviously it hadn't happened yet. Awkward.

But, seeing as it is finally Thursday, we should make sure that your gaming tables look good. And, I have to say, there's some good stuff in there today. Have a peek.

In the Corner today: Tilescape Gothic City Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Savage Realms Citadel Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Brigade Models Releases Small Scale Semaphore Towers, Heroic Maps Releases Storeys: The Lost Library, Loke BattleMats launch popular Desert Tundra design in 3'x3' and 3'x6' rubber backed neoprene, and New Amera Mouldings building for 28mm.

Monday... I mean... blech... but it's a necessary part of life. Without Mondays, we can't eventually be making our way back to the weekend, right? Every journey starts with a single step, and that's what Monday is. It's also a day where we try and get your gaming tables looking good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New 15mm tobruk bunker objective from Baueda and Fantasy Cartography Modular Dungeon Rooms Up On Kickstarter.

Already Thursday? I'm certainly happy about that. I've got game this weekend, and so you know I'm certainly looking forward to it. And with game will come a gaming table. And with a gaming table comes making the gaming table look good. Let's do that for everyone with our Thursday Terrain Corner.

Today we have: Loke BattleMats add new Ocean waves design to PVC tabletop mat range, New Road and River Strips Available From Deep-Cut Studio, and New Egyptian Pillars Available From Acheson Creations.

And we've swung back around to the beginning and come back to Monday. I guess it's necessary. That whole "time marches on" thing. Might as well make the best of it and make your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Sky of War Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, New 15mm Tobruk bunkers from Baueda, and Loke BattleMats add new sizes to Death Wastes rubber backed neoprene tabletop mat range.

Is this week going by slowly for anyone else, or just me? It seems like it should've been Friday by now. But waddyagonnado? I guess we're gonna just continue along. But we should also try and make your gaming tables look good.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Aztec Terrain From Acheson Creations and New Forest Game Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio.
