Warlord Games Announces Andy Chambers as Lead for Konflikt ‘47 Development Team

Warlord Games has confirmed the appointment of veteran wargames developer Andy Chambers as the head of the writing and development team for Konflikt ‘47. Chambers, whose career includes significant contributions to titles such as Warhammer 40,000 and Blood Red Skies, brings decades of experience to his new role.

In his new position, Chambers will focus on expanding the narrative and gameplay elements of Konflikt ‘47, a game set in a ‘Weird War’ version of World War II. His responsibilities will encompass the development of game rules and the enhancement of the game’s backstory.

Peter Gosling, Head of Marketing and K’47 Product Manager at Warlord Games, expressed positivity about the impact of Chambers’ appointment. “Andy’s signing is a huge milestone for this project, and we’re enormously
happy to have him leading the writing and development team.” said Gosling.

John Stallard, Owner and CEO of Warlord Games, also welcomed Chambers, highlighting their previous collaborations and his suitability for spearheading the project. “We’re incredibly excited to welcome Andy onboard! We’ve worked extensively with him in the past, so know that he’s the right person to lead the writing and development team for Konflikt ‘47.” Stallard remarked.

Andy Chambers himself shared his enthusiasm for his new role and the creative potential it holds. “I am absolutely thrilled to be returning to a Weird World War II setting once more, it’s always been such a great inspiration for me and I’m looking forward to pushing forward the Konflikt ’47 universe, particularly ramping up the ‘weird’ factor! ” said Chambers.
